Note:  Pursuant to the Mauka Area Rules, Chapter 217, Hawaii Administrative Rules, new filing procedures, permit requirement and fees have been established.

Kakaako Park Permits
As of November 1, 2019 the City and County of Honolulu assumed ownership of the Kaka’ako Waterfront Park, Gateway Parks, and Kewalo Basin Park.  For permits for those parks, please call the City Department of Parks and Recreation, Kaka’ako Regional Park at (808) 768-9247 or email [email protected] for permitting assistance.

HCDA will continue to issue permits for the Kolowalu Parks.
Note: There is a 45 day processing time for Kolowalu park permits.

Kalaeloa Community Development District Use Permits

HCDA Community Room

The Hawaii Community Development Authority has a Community Room that is available for use by government agencies, non-profit groups, and community organizations during regular business hours. The room is at the HCDA offices at 547 Queen Street on the first floor.
