This section presents statistics relating to visitor arrivals, on the daily visitor census, visitor accommodation units, hotel occupancy, and room rates. The source of these data are reports of the Hawaii State Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism (DBEDT), Research & Economic Analysis Division (READ)’s Tourism Research Branch, the Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA), the Hawaii Visitors Bureau (HVB), the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau (HVCB), PKF-Hawaii, Smith Travel Research, and Hospitality Advisors, LLC.

Long-term trends are presented in Historical Statistics of Hawaii, Sections 11 and 20.
