Monthly Economic Indicators (MEI) through September 2025 was released on October 30, 2025, but due to the federal shutdown there are no BLS/DBEDT-LRB LAUS or jobs data, and no Kauai building permit data. This report will updated if/when the data become available.

1/ Suspension of Federal Government Services: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics website is currently not being updated due to the suspension of Federal government services. The last update to the site was Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Updates to the site will start again when the Federal government resumes operations.
NOTE: Today’s MEI 2025-09p data are/will be available via Current Economic Conditions, the various READ Dashboards and Economic and Tourism Data Warehouses as the upload protocol permits.
