Business Revitalization Task Force Final Report Archive Page

Act 142 of the 2024 Legislative Session |Archived PDF established a Business Revitalization Taskforce within the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to identify methods to improve Hawaii’s general economic competitiveness and business climate, including the mitigation of regulatory and tax burdens.

On November 19, 2025, the Business Revitalization Task Force approved its final report for submission to the 2026 Legislative Session. The report summarizes the Task Force’s findings on strategies to enhance Hawaiʻi’s economic competitiveness and business climate and presents a legislative proposal aimed at improving the state’s overall business environment.
