DBEDT today announced that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for August was 7.0 percent compared to 7.3 percent in July.

According to preliminary visitor statistics released by the Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT) total spending by visitors arriving in July 2021 was $1.58 billion.

DBEDT released its third quarter 2021 Statistical and Economic Report today. DBEDT revised its economic growth projection for 2021 to 2.7 percent, down from the 3.5 percent projected in May this year.
