DBEDT released its fourth quarter 2021 Statistical and Economic Report today. DBEDT revised its economic growth projection for 2021 to 3.9 percent, up from the 2.7 percent projected in August year-to-date this year.

According to preliminary visitor statistics released by the DBEDT, total spending by visitors who came to the islands in October 2021 was $1.12 billion.

DBEDT today announced that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for October was 6.3 percent compared to 6.6 percent in September.
