Office of the Governor — Governor David Ige announced today the launch of the State of Hawaii Rent Relief and Housing Assistance Program (RRHAP).

DBEDT announced the launch of its Hawaii Defense Economy (HDE) website, which includes updated data, information and resources about Hawaii’s second largest economic sector, national defense.

DBEDT released its third quarter 2020 Statistical and Economic Report today. In the report, DBEDT projected Hawaii’s economy will contract by 12.3 percent in 2020.

DBEDT today released the 2019 edition of the “State of Hawaii Data Book.” The book is in electronic form and is available on the DBEDT website.

DBEDT announced today the launch of Buy Hawaii, Give Aloha, a platform that was created to feature made-in-Hawaii products and to provide greater exposure to local businesses experiencing hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
