Hawaii Housing Finance & Development Corp. — Up to $3,000 more in funding is now available to each of the first 35 homebuyers in the Hale Kamaaina Mortgage Program, a state initiative aimed at offering first-time homebuyers below-market rate mortgages.

According to preliminary statistics from DBEDT, total spending by visitors in December 2025 was $2.12 billion (measured in nominal dollars), a 3.7 percent increase compared to December 2024.
