DBEDT today announced that the monthly labor statistics including labor force, employment, unemployment, and unemployment rate have been revised from January 2010 to December 2022 and job count by industry has been revised from January 1990 to December 2022 by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

DBEDT released its first quarter 2023 Statistical and Economic Report today. DBEDT kept its economic growth projections for 2023 and 2024 at 1.7 percent and 2.1 percent, respectively, unchanged from the projections made in the previous quarter.

According to preliminary visitor statistics released by DBEDT, a total of 791,781 visitors arrived in the Hawaiian Islands in January 2023, up 37.9 percent from January 2022.
