Hawaii Housing Finance & Development Corporation — The Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation is urging Hawaii residents to respond to a major survey that is needed to assess issues relating to housing supply and demand throughout the state.

Hawaii State Energy Office — The United States Department of Energy has encouraged the Hawaii State Energy Office and its consortium of partners across government, community, industry, and academia to submit a Full Application for the Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub (H2Hub) program.

According to preliminary visitor statistics released by DBEDT, a total of 735,340 visitors arrived in the Hawaiian Islands in November 2022, representing a 90.9 percent recovery from the same month in 2019.

DBEDT today announced that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for November was 3.3 percent, unchanged from the revised rate of 3.3 percent in October.

DBEDT released its fourth quarter 2022 Statistical and Economic Report today. DBEDT kept economic growth projections for 2022 and 2023 for the State unchanged at 2.6 percent and 1.7 percent, respectively.
