DBEDT's Community-Based Economic Development Program has awarded a grant to the Institute for Native Pacific Education and Culture, to empower Native Hawaiian-owned companies to showcase their unique products at the upcoming 2024 Made in Hawaii Festival.

According to preliminary statistics from DBEDT, total visitor arrivals and total visitor spending in June 2024 decreased compared to June 2023.

DBEDT today announced that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for June was 2.9 percent, compared to 3.0 percent in May.

Hawaii residents are invited to hone high-demand creative industry skills through four free courses to be offered through the University of Hawaii Community Colleges’ Good Jobs Hawaii initiative.
