Kumu Iki represents one of the foundational residential projects within the master-planned “Villages of Kapolei” community on Oʻahu.

Launched in 1989, Kumu Iki was among the first phases of development intended to transform the former plantation lands of the ʻEwa Plain into the “Second City.” The development was central to HHFDC’s initial strategy of providing affordable and accessible housing for the growing workforce of the island.
