Kaniko`o Rice Camp

Kaniko`o Rice Camp II is a senior community in Lihue, Kauai developed in partnership with the County of Kauai, Ahe Group, HHFDC and EAH Housing. Kaniko`o II adds 30 to the existing 60 units in the affordable senior community located in Lihue, Kauai. The area was formerly used to house migrant plantation workers in the early 1900s when Kauai’s sugar industry was booming. All units are for seniors, age 62 years and older, earning no more than 60 percent of Area Mean Income. The LEED Certified Platinum design includes a community center, a central laundry area and ample parking.
