Oral Testimony

All oral testimony will be limited to a maximum of three minutes pursuant to Section 92-3, Hawai’i Revised Statutes, and Article IV, Section 10 of HCDA’s Bylaws.

Testimony must be related to an item on the agenda.  All testifiers will be asked to identify themselves for the record.

If you would like to provide oral testimony at a virtual meeting or public hearing you may signup to speak up to 24-hours before the scheduled meeting by emailing [email protected].  Please include your name, the agenda item you want to testify on, and if you support or oppose it.  Then  join the meeting via zoom as described on the agenda or public hearing notice.  The chair will call your name at the designated time.

If you have not signed up to speak but would like to provide oral testimony, please join the meeting via zoom as described on the agenda or public hearing notice.  When the Chairperson asks for public testimony, you may click the Raise Hand button found on your Zoom screen to indicate that you wish to testify about that specific agenda item.  Testifiers will be called by the chair in the order that they signed up or raised their virtual hand to speak.  When your name is called, you will be unmuted, and may proceed with your testimony.
