Lindsey Doi, Recognized at Hawai’i Community Development Authority

As HCDA’s Asset Manager, Lindsey oversees the leasing and management of HCDA lands in Kakaako, Kalaeloa, and Heeia. These assets represent a diverse portfolio of affordable housing developments, public facilities (parks, roads and schools), agricultural land, and cultural preservation lands. Lindsey also oversees the agency’s Reserved Housing Program, which provides affordable home ownership opportunities for Hawaii’s middle income workforce population. Prior to joining HCDA in 2013, Lindsey spent seven years in the television news industry. After working as a Bureau Chief/Reporter/Producer at ABC news affiliate stations in California and Oregon, she returned to Hawaii in 2010 to produce KITV’s evening news broadcasts. She launched Hawaii’s first hour-long local news broadcast and was awarded back-to-back prestigious Emmys in 2011 and 2012 for Best Evening News Producer in the highly competitive California/Western Region Market Division.
