Affordable Homeownership Revolving Fund (AHRF)

Established by Act 227, SLH 2021, the AHRF provides critical funding to support the development of affordable for-sale housing across Hawaiʻi.

The AHRF authorizes the HHFDC to provide loans for the development, pre-development, construction, acquisition, preservation, and substantial rehabilitation of affordable for-sale housing units.

Eligibility & Availability

Eligible Applicants: Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and nonprofit housing development organizations.
Status: Applications are accepted continuously until funding is exhausted.
