The information provided below is intended to familiarize you with HHFDC’s homeownership programs and for-sale projects in partnership with the HHFDC’s programs. This page has been divided between our programs and projects.

*The Mortgage Credit Certificate existing holders’ page
*The Mortgage Credit Certificate (MCC) Program is no longer accepting new applications.
However, reissuance applications for existing MCC holders are still being processed through participating lenders. MCC holders should verify lender participation directly when exploring refinancing options. Review our MCC Participating Lenders List and inquire with participating lenders when refinancing your mortgage loan.
HHFDC supports teachers
HHFDC Executive Director Dean Minakami (second from left) joins members of the Hawaii State Teachers Association as they bring attention to the need to support funding for the state’s public schools and schoolteachers. HHFDC’s Dwelling Unit Revolving Fund Equity Pilot (DEP) program aims to keep kamaʻaina teachers home in Hawaiʻi nei by purchasing equity in qualifying units, thus lowering the overall price tag.
